Over the past ten years, nearly every room in our house has been painted by our extraordinarily talented and charming painter, Vinko. Since my husband and I both work from home, we spent a lot of time chatting with him while he worked, hearing about his incredibly accomplished family and his dreams of retiring to his native Croatia. Over the years he became a dear friend of our family. Sadly, Vinko passed away yesterday very unexpectedly. He was a great artist and a wonderful man...
I hope heaven looks just like Croatia, Vinko.
Life is so fleeting...Vinko's death serves as a strong reminder to enjoy every moment of every day, and to not put our dreams on hold.
