Happy Friday!! These summer weeks are going by just a little too quickly for me...are you feeling the same way? It has been hot, hot, hot here on the East Coast and I have to keep reminding myself that I should enjoy every minute of it...I will be seriously missing these days come February!

Do you know about "Manhattanhenge"? Don't worry, neither did I, until I read about it on
Cup of Jo and I have lived in the NYC area for nearly 30 years! Apparently there are two days a year when the sun aligns perfectly with the grid of Manhattan streets to create surreal rays of sunlight on the crosstown streets...you can witness this phenomenon this Saturday, July 13th at approximately 8:20pm. That pretty much wraps things up for this week...I am planning on enjoying these warm summer days as much as possible, relaxing by the pool with a novel (The Impossible Lives of Greta Wells and Instructions For A Heatwave are next on my list) and, perhaps, a cocktail or two...this one sounds delicious.
