Ten Best Airports in the World

 

 

I recently wrote an article for Destinations Travel Magazine on the Ten Best Airports in the World.  Surprisingly (or maybe not so much), none of them were in the United States and only one was in the Americas.  Each of them had some fascinating features. Here are some highlights...

Beijing Capital Airport (#5) has a red roof...the entire airport was built in accordance with Feng Shui...

I haven't seen anything at LaGuardia or JFK that even remotely resembles any of these things...so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised the US wasn't well represented on this list! Do you have a favorite airport? If so, tell us more about what makes it special...
