Wednesday Wanderlust ~ Kids Sea Camp

If my children were still young, Kids Sea Camp would be number one on my "family travel" bucket list. My sister and her family have been on several KSC adventures and cannot stop singing the praises of this amazing program.

My nephews, Sam and Hunter.

This is an excerpt from the article I wrote about Kids Sea Camp in the March issue of Destinations Travel Magazine:

Picture yourself watching the sun set over the ocean, drinking an umbrella drink, listening to a steel band playing in the background…now add the joyful sound of your children playing with their new friends on the beach. You are all sun-kissed and relaxed after a day of scuba diving for the parents and scuba lessons, field trips, art classes and other fascinating activities for the children.  This isn’t just any resort where you can send your children off to the resort’s kids program for the day – this is Kids Sea Camp – a unique program designed specifically for families in which the parents love to scuba dive and want their children to learn to love diving as well.

Kids Sea Camp (KSC) is particularly unique because  it isn’t in a fixed location – the program is held in various resorts around the world so that the families who enjoy the program can return year after year while also experiencing new destinations.  Currently, KSC offers programs in St. Vincent, Grand Cayman, Bonaire, Costa Rica, Utila, Galapagos, Yap and Palau.  Program weeks are offered over school vacations and during the summer.
