It's Fashion Week in New York City....Let's "Paint the Town Red"!

Every year there is one very special show that kicks off  February Fashion Week in New York- The Heart Truth Red Dress Collection. For over a decade, Heart Truth, a division of the National Institutes of Health,  has partnered with the fashion industry to present the Red Dress Collection in an effort to raise awareness of heart disease in women - the number one cause of death in women.  

 

 

I have been fortunate enough to attend this show in past years - it is always so much fun to see the stunning red dresses created by top designers and worn by a wide range of celebrities walking the runway.

This year's show is tonight at 7:00 at the Hammerstein Ballroom. There are over twenty celebrities on the catwalk this year including Savannah Guthrie, Jaclyn Smith, Kris Jenner, Fran Drescher and Jillian Michaels,  all wearing dresses from designers such as Zach Posen and Carolina Herrera.
