Fifty Things to Do...

(to be checked off the list this year!!)

 

While reading a bit about the Orient Express for my post last Friday, I discovered the BBC Series called "Fifty Things to Do Before You Die".  BBC viewers voted to choose the top fifty things they wanted to do before they die. The producers of the show selected a few lucky viewers to live out their dreams and filmed their journeys.

 

I was absolutely charmed by the adorable couple who were offered the chance to travel on the Orient Express from Venice to London in this video:

 

This video of a widow going to Machu Picchu on the trip she had hoped to take with her husband brought tears to my eyes:

 

 

For some reason, YouTube only had six videos available. My curiousity was piqued, so I googled the show and came up with this list of the fifty things that were chosen by BBC viewers.   I must admit, quite a few of them are on my own bucket list...
