Prayers for Newtown

My heart is heavy after the tragedy in Newtown on Friday. Please keep the all those affected by these tragic events in your hearts and prayers.

My daughter said to me yesterday she always thought our home in Fairfield County, Connecticut was the safest place in the world. For too many in nearby Newtown, their sense of safety has been shattered by this horrible event.

 

If you would like to provide assistance, The United Way of Western Connecticut, in partnership with the Newtown Savings Bank,  has created the  Sandy Hook School Support Fund to help provide support services to the families and community that are affected.
