Summer is beginning to wane and many of us are feeling a bit of remorse for the summer vacations that were either cancelled or had a very different feel than in years past. Without a crystal ball, there is no way of knowing what the status of travel will be as we look ahead to the holidays. But one thing I can see in the future - people WANT to travel again!

Many people they are looking for warm weather options where they can relax with the family while also social distancing. One great option for this is a yacht charter!

With just you, your guests and your crew (who are tested regularly for Covid to assure safety), a yacht charter creates the ultimate “social bubble”. You don’t need to worry about wearing a mask in public spaces or who last sat on your beach chair. Meals are prepared by your private onboard chef, and activities are planned by the crew. You can island hop or just opt to stay on the boat, enjoying the privacy of your own boat. Everything is tailored to what your group wants - from your daily itinerary to your meal selections.

Most boats also have wifi on board, so you could even take your “virtual school” to the seas - imagine lessons in the morning and snorkeling in the afternoon!

Charters are available in the Caribbean and the Bahamas during the winter season, including over the holidays. For those of you with school or college age children, you may have been restricted to the week between Christmas and New Years in past years - this year, Thanksgiving or the week BEFORE Christmas may work for your family.
